2nd Annual Young NDP Garage Sale A Big Success

Thank you to all those who came out Saturday for our Brant Young NDP Garage Sale!  Also a big thank you to all those who donated items for the sale.  Hundreds of dollars was raised for youth led and youth focused activities in Brant and hundreds of unsold items have been or will soon be delivered to local charities and churches.

I'm incredibly proud of our grassroots campaign and incredibly proud of our local youth wing for all the work they do and the great ideas they bring to the table.  One example of their get-out-there-and-do-good-things spirit was when during a lull in the day they took it upon themselves to rake the lawns of neigbourhood seniors who had been unable to rake themselves this fall.

Thank you to the community for supporting their efforts.  I'm excited to see what we can do together in the coming year.

Also a big thank you goes to one of our senior supporters Marion Brose for the use of her home for the week leading up to the sale and to the Brantford Expositor for including this garage sale in their coverage of the strides our young activists have made in Brant.
